After many years of studying ballet, she found yoga where she discovered incredible balancing benefits that gradually changed her life path.

Practicing mainly Vinyasa & Ashtanga, she decided to take a teaching course in order to deepen into her practice.

She went to Rishikesh, India, where she took a 200-hour Teachers Training Course at Vinyasa Yoga School registered by Yoga Alliance.

After that, she started teaching Vinyasa yoga and Power yoga in Playa del Carmen and San Miguel de Allende, México.

She's been traveling to places like France, Bali, Japan & Sweden to teach in different studios through workshops & Master Classes.

Her class is very dynamic, combining Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, a lot of sweat and smiles... along with a nice playlist or live music that will inspire you in every posture.

She loves sharing her practice with others so they can experience the benefits of yoga as healing, strengthening, calming, and empowering practice.

Azusa Morishima has been practicing and teaching Chakra work yoga with a focus on the connection of the body-mind-spirit through 7chakras for many years.

With this practice, she wants to let your inner soul shine and to help you to live in mindfulness.

Her mission is to show you the value of your existence so you can be able to express yourself freely.

She's been mainly teaching in Japan and organizing/ coordinating workshops, events, and retreats in Japan and overseas such as Bali & Hawaii! You'd love her class and her smile!

We’ll stay at Hisetsunotaki Camp Site, in private Deluxe Suite Cottages that have their own kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, and WC.

Each Deluxe Suite Cottage has a traditional Japanese floor called "Tatami" is a type of mat used as a flooring material in traditional Japanese-style rooms. It is made using rice straw to form the core.

We'll experience the comfort of "futons", a Japanese traditional style of bedding which consists of a mattress (???? shikibuton, lit. "spreading futon") and a duvet (???? kakebuton, lit. "covering futon").

The whole place is beautiful and located in the middle of nature with its own waterfall, perfect to relax and enjoy the magnificent nature of Kumano.

As you arrive in our new home for the next 6 days "Hisetsunotaki Camp, Kumano", we will take the time to meet and greet.

You can take some time to rest and explore the city or our beautiful hotel and its waterfall.

In the evening, we'll have a "Welcome Ceremony" to explain the foundations and the itinerary for our next days in Kumano together.

Full days on the retreat will look like this:

  • Wake up and join the yoga practice of 1hour and a half, followed by a delicious Japanese Breakfast
  • Get ready to explore Kumano in one of our excursions.
  • Lunch will be served either in a Restaurant or as a picnic in one of the magical places Kumano has.
  • In the late afternoon, you can rest or maybe you can join a meditation session or a Yoga Nidra class.
  • Dinner will be served

We have planned different excursions that will allow you to discover Kumano and many important aspects of the Japanese Culture: its traditions, its religions and the spiritual and "poetic" side of beautiful Japan.

A Japan that not many people has access to as a tourist.

The activities are:

  • We'll go to a traditional house of "Shugendo", a spiritual ancient folk religion from Japan.
  • Water purification of our body and spirit lead by a Master.
  • Visit Maruyama Senmaida ricefields
  • River Cruise in Kumano-Gawa river.
  • Walk in Kumano Dodo, pilgrimage route.
